It was an usual morning of rescues for one town's fire crew after being called to rescue an emu and a deer.
Hadleigh Fire Station was alerted to the incidents in Tinkers Lane and Stonehouse Road in the town on Wednesday morning
A spokesman said that the emu was stuck in a river and unable to get out.
Later on, the crew was then alerted to a deer which had become stuck in railings.
Posting on social media, a spokesman for the station said: "Both animals are now back where they belong.
"If you have a pet elephant please keep it indoors and out of trouble today!"
