Police are searching for the driver of an HGV who failed to stop at the scene of a crash that saw a woman in her 80s suffer injuries.
Police were called to reports of a two-vehicle crash in Melford Road in Cavendish, near Sudbury, at about 2.30pm on Thursday.
A spokesman for Suffolk police said the crash involved a heavy goods vehicle and a white Vauxhall Mokka.
The wing mirror of the Vauxhall was damaged in the crash and the HGV failed to stop at the scene, the police spokesman said.
The driver of the car, a woman aged in her 80s, suffered minor injuries.
Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident, including those that stopped to help the woman.
Anyone with any information related to the incident, including anyone with dashcam footage of the crash or of the manner of driving of the vehicles, is being asked to contact Suffolk police, quoting the crime reference number 191 of April 25.
