Some 300 young people have attended a celebration event in honour of St George's Day.
Young people and leaders from the Stowmarket area attended the event on Sunday, two days before the official date.
The event, organised by 1st Combs Scout Group, was held at Haughley Park, and comprised of a parade, followed by a range of fun activities, including rounders, a treasure hunt, axe throwing, Kubb, archery and more.
Parents were also invited to watch the celebrations and join in with the fun.
Organisers Lisa Brown, group scout leader, and Mitchell Billing, assistant scout leader, said: "Its an important date in the Scouting Calendar and its been a number of years since the district have marked the occasion with an event.
"We wanted to combine the traditional parade and renewal of promises with fun involving parents too.
"We had lots of positive comments and smiling faces, the event was a great opportunity for the young people to socialise and learn new skills which is what Scouting is all about. "
The event concluded with a giant picnic and campfire.
