A new deli looks set to open in a Suffolk village as fresh plans have been submitted to a council.
According a document submitted to Babergh District Council, Piccolo Deli will open its doors at 3 Church View, Kersey Maltings in Kersey, near Hadleigh.
An alcohol licence application before the council states the small unit will be on the mill site where there are about 12 other units.
It will be a deli serving food products, as well as wine and spirits to consume off the premises.
The document states there will also be events where alcohol is set to be consumed on the site.
The deli seeks permission from Babergh District Council to serve alcohol both on and off the premises from 9am to 9pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, 9am to 10pm Friday and Saturday and 10am to 9pm on Sundays.
The alcohol licence application is with the district council for consideration.
A public consultation is ongoing and ends on May 16.
