Drivers will face a 10-mile diversion as a road in a west Suffolk town is closed for repairs for three days next week.
Suffolk Highways said footway resurfacing will be taking place in Nowton Road, Bury St Edmunds, from Tuesday, April 30.
The work will take place from 9.30am until 3pm and is due to be completed by Thursday, May 2.
However, a full road closure will be in place for the three days from Steward Way to Sandpiper Road.

A diversion route which is about 10 miles long will be in place for the duration of the work.
It will take drivers along the A1302, A134, Sicklesmere Road, Bury Road and Cooper Lane.
The diversion will go through the nearby villages of Hawkstead and Shimpling.
