Drivers are being warned as three abnormal loads are to be escorted through Suffolk today.
Suffolk police are helping with the transportation of a 42-tonne plant, 43-tonne plant and a 74-tonne crane today.
The 74-tonne crane left Essex at around 9am today and is being escorted to Sizewell B.
The official route is: A14 Cambs Border – A12 – B1122 – Lover’s Lane – Local Roads to Site.
The police escort will oversee the load from the A12 at Wickham Market.
The first of the two plants will then leave Otley at around 11am today and make its way to Sizewell.
The official route will be: Local Roads - B1079 - B1078 - A12 - B1122 - Lover's Lane - Local Roads to Site.
Suffolk police will begin the escort from the B1078.
Later today at about 12.30pm the 43-tonne plant will be escorted from the B1122 to King George's Avenue in Leiston.
The short escort will be: Local roads - B1122 - Local roads.
