Police have arrested two more people, including a teenager, in connection with the stabbing of a man in his 20s in Newmarket.
A 14-year-old boy was one of the two arrested on Thursday in relation to the stabbing.
The boy was held on suspicion of conspiracy to commit grievous bodily harm.
He was taken to Bury St Edmunds police station where he was subsequently bailed to return to police on July 2.
A 19-year-old man was also arrested on suspicion of assault causing grievous bodily harm.
He was also taken to Bury St Edmunds police station, where he remains.
The victim sustained serious stab wounds after being approached by a group of four just before 6pm on Wednesday near the Guineas Shopping Centre, in Newmarket.
He was immediately rushed to hospital.
A woman, 37, had previously been arrested on Wednesday on suspicion of assisting the offenders.
She was questioned at Bury St Edmunds police station and released on bail.
Officers believe the stabbing is a "contained incident" as the people involved are known to each other.
