A popular dog event is to return once again this year after last year's edition was cancelled due to hot weather.
Ipswich's St Elizabeth Hospice has revealed that Suffolk Dog Day will once again be held at Helmingham Hall on Sunday, September 8.
Suffolk Dog Day 2024 will feature a range of fun dog classes, agility and scurry activities, as well as more than 50 stalls selling dog goods.
There will also be Crufts' style competitions, children's entertainment and lots of food and drink stalls.
More details will be announced in the coming months, but organisers have said it was be a day to get "tails wagging in approval".
James Fox-Golding, events and challenges manager at St Elizabeth Hospice, said: "We are so pleased to announce the date for this year's Suffolk Dog Day.
"It is an event which is a real staple of the Suffolk calendar and we cannot wait for September to arrive so we can join with supporters and the Suffolk community to celebrate our love for man's best friend."
This will be the first Suffolk Dog Day since 2022, with last year's event being cancelled due to the extremely hot weather the county experienced in September 2023.
