Two dogs were found dead and a man seriously injured after emergency services were called to a van fire.
Police, paramedics and the fire service were called to the blaze at Ram Meadow in Bury St Edmunds at about 7.30pm on Tuesday.
A spokesman for Suffolk police said on arrival officers found two dogs dead inside the van.
A man suffered burns to his face and body and was taken to hospital for treatment where he remains.
The cause of the fire is not yet known.
