A bomb disposal unit have investigated a "suspected unexploded bomb" on the Suffolk coast.
The "suspicious item" was discovered at the site of an old army bunker by a family of four on Sunday at around 7.15pm in the School Lane area of Bawdsey.
On Tuesday, two police officers cordoned off the site for inspection at about 5pm and referred the incident to the army bomb disposal unit who attended the scene at 7pm.

Emma Pratt, mother of two, and her partner Joseph Woolnough were "shocked" to discover the item on their weekend family fishing trip.
Ms Pratt told us about the sighting: "We started to pack up and turned around and literally in the cliff face it looks like its been unearthed from the corrosion of the soil and we saw what we suspected was a bomb."
She added: "We ended up phoning the police and they met up with us early this evening, the police have come out and they've taken pictures and it's been referred to the army."

"Two officers were there so no one could go down there and they were waiting for the army to go up there with a bomb disposal unit to double check with the findings they've found because they suspected it was a bomb themselves."
Suffolk police have since confirmed at 9.35pm that the "suspicious item" had been "misidentified".
Following an investigation, the object was believed to be an old water pipe in an isolated location with "no identified risk".
