A new town centre coffee shop could be close to opening as job adverts for staff members have appeared.
Jobs at the new Esquires Coffee in Sudbury's Market Hill have been published on job site Indeed.
These include store manager, for up to £15 an hour, team supervisor, for up to £12 an hour, and team member for up to £11.44 an hour.
Last week, signage for the new coffee shop appeared on the former WHSmith building, which closed in 2022.
Esquires Coffee submitted an application to Babergh District Council for internally-illuminated signage in April last year, but this was refused as it was considered "out of character" for the area.
A fresh application including the same three signage designs, but this time externally-illuminated by overhead channel batten lights and reduced in size, was submitted in July 2023 and given the go-ahead in September.
Now, the signs displaying the brand name, logo and slogan, 'Coffee. Food. People', have appeared above the door of the shop.
According to the company's website, Esquires Coffee is 'coming soon' to Sudbury, as well as nearby Bury St Edmunds and Colchester.
