A man from west Suffolk has been disqualified from driving and ordered to pay almost £400 for speeding in Surrey.
Brett Langsworthy, of Wyken Road in Stanton, near Bury St Edmunds, exceeded the 50mph speed limit while driving a Ford Index in Farnham, in Surrey, on June 19 last year.
The incident took place on the A31 which is a major trunk road in southern England that runs from Guildford in Surrey to Bere Regis in Dorset.
Langsworthy had pleaded guilty to the charge when it was heard before Brighton Magistrates' Court on March.
He was fined £204 by the court, along with being ordered to pay £110 in costs and £82 in a victim surcharge - bringing his total amount to pay out to £396.
Langsworthy was also handed three penalty points on his licence and disqualified from driving for the next six months.
His guilty plea was taken into account when magistrates handed down a sentence, a court listing said.
