The inquest for a teenager who died in a crash in a village north of Ipswich has been suspended until June.
Bethany McCauley died in a car crash in Thornhill Road in Barham, near Claydon, on April 29 last year.
Miss McCauley, 18, was the passenger of a blue Vauxhall Corsa which left the road and collided with a garage, causing Miss McCauley to lose consciousness.
Emergency services were called to the scene just after 12.35am, but Miss McCauley died at the scene.
On Thursday, an inquest into her death at Suffolk Coroners' Court in Ipswich was formally suspended until June 21, a date which has been agreed with assistant coroner for Suffolk Mr Peter Taheri.
Those gathered at Suffolk Coroners’ Court heard that the reason for this suspension is that criminal proceedings are now underway.
After her death, Miss McCauley's family said in a statement: "She will be deeply missed by her parents, younger brother William, Grandmother, aunts and uncle as well as by her friends, Smudge the cat and of course Stomper."
