Drivers will be left facing a 27-mile diversion route when a main road in and out of a Suffolk village is closed.
The B1508 St Edmunds Hill which connects Bures and Sudbury will be closed from 8am until 1pm on Saturday, April 6.

According to the Suffolk County Council website the official diversion route for the closure is 27 miles.
The diversion route will vary as some vehicles like HGVs cannot go down smaller roads.
A number of A-roads will make up part of the diversion route.
