A man remains in a serious condition in Addenbrooke's Hospital after a car crashed into the foyer of a Bury St Edmunds Premier Inn hotel.
Emergency services were called to the Etna Road hotel at about 8.05pm on Friday, March 8 following reports that a Renault Captur car had ploughed through the main entrance.
The front doors were smashed as the car entered the building and a member of staff, a man aged in his 20s, suffered serious injuries in the incident.
A spokesman for Suffolk police has now confirmed that the man remains in Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge in a serious but stable condition.
The driver of the car, a 59-year-old woman, was not injured in the crash.
The spokesman also confirmed that the woman has been interviewed under caution in connection with the crash and police enquiries into the incident are continuing.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Bury St Edmunds Roads and Armed Policing team, quoting reference CAD 284 of March 8.
