Lane closures remain on the A14 in west Suffolk due to flooding – one month on from when the issue first started.
The eastbound carriageway near Newmarket has witnessed disruption since February 20 after flood water spilt onto the road.
Since then, millions of litres of water have been pumped away from the site as drivers have been hit with significant disruption.
One lane remains shut a month on, with no end date in sight for the road to reopen.
A spokesman for National Highways said: “We regret any inconvenience experienced by drivers and local communities.
"Our team is diligently working to reopen all lanes at the earliest opportunity. Addressing this flooding issue remains a top regional priority, although we have encountered challenges in resolving it.

"We are actively conducting additional surveys and drainage work, including pumping out water from the central reservation, to prevent future occurrences. Additionally, we are collaborating with the Environment Agency to address and resolve this issue effectively.”
There have been calls for an investigation into the flooding by local leaders, while drivers themselves poked fun at the problem on a Tripadvisor page which has since been removed.
