An exotic bird been spotted on the run in the mid Suffolk countryside.
The loose rhea has been seen by several people around the county, but was spotted by drivers in Wetheringsett, off the A140, on Monday afternoon.
Rheas are native to South America and can reach speeds of up to 50mph.

It is not the first case of exotic birds being spotted in the county.
In 2015, a rhea was caught near Hollesley, while last year saw an escapee emu send police on a five-hour chase.
