Bus services between two towns look set to be extended under new plans.
The 753 Chambers bus route currently runs between Sudbury and Bury St Edmunds, stopping in villages such as Long Melford, Lavenham and Alpheton along the way.
Currently, the last service from Sudbury bus station is at 6.30pm and terminates in Great Waldingfield at 6.50pm.
However, from the end of May this will be extended, according to Lavenham Parish Council.
Plans outlined by the authority suggest the last service would stop in Lavenham at 7.01pm, before terminating in Bury St Edmunds at 7.38pm.
Under the new proposals the last bus from Sudbury would be at 9.10pm, arriving at Bury St Edmunds bus station at 10.18pm.

There would be two return journeys from Bury - one at 7.45pm and one at 10.30pm.
A spokesman for the parish council said: "The Parish Council is delighted to announce an extended 753 bus service will commence on May 26, 2024.
"This achievement is a good example of neighbouring local Councils working together to improve our communities. The timetable is still being finalised but the aim is to have two evening buses Monday to Saturday.
"This means, people living along the route, will be able to enjoy evening hospitality in all the different communities, thereby stimulating the evening economy and increasing employment opportunities."
Plans for a new Sunday day-time service are also under consideration.
