A Suffolk hotel has been named among the best places to stay in the UK.
The Suffolk in Aldeburgh, which opened in the coastal town in 2022, has been named among the best in the UK by the national newspaper the Sunday Times.
It was also named as the best hotel in the East of England.
The guide described The Suffolk as "a sensational spot for seafood in a sensitively restored 17th-century building”.
The Suffolk is one of the county's best-loved locations for a meal out on the Suffolk coast.
Not only does it have an excellent reputation for its locally sourced menu but for its elegant and cosy rooms as well, making it an ideal location to ditch the cab and stay the night.
The hotel was recently featured in a list by Olive Magazine which rounded up the best places in the UK to eat, drink and sleep.
