One of the best-known pubs in a Suffolk town is searching for a new landlord.
Greene King is seeing someone to take over The Linden Tree, in Out Northgate, in Bury St Edmunds.
It reopened in 2022, after being taken on by pub and catering specialists Stock & Bailey.
However, Greene King has confirmed they are searching for a new partner to run the pub.
A spokesman said: "We’re searching for a new partner to run the Linden Tree with strong experience with a food-driven pub.

"We’re looking for someone with a passion for great service, high standards and a love of bringing the community together.
"The Linden Tree has always had a strong reputation for food, with many locals holding fond memories of great times spent in this pub. We encourage anyone that is interested in becoming a partner to contact the recruitment team for further information.”
It comes amid the brewer's search for new landlords at The Rose and Crown in Bury St Edmunds.
