An ambulance was called to the scene, but a spokesman for the Suffolk police said that the biker did not seem to have sustained any life-threatening or life-changing injuries.
A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said that they took a male to West Suffolk Hospital for further treatment and care.
Recovery for the vehicles has now arrived but the road is expected to remain closed for a while longer while the crash is cleared.
Police remain at the scene.
