More roadworks are planned for the A12 in east Suffolk as part of a bid to alleviate flooding problems.
Part of the carriageway in Yoxford has suffered repeated issues during the winter months.
Residents were forced to close the road themselves on two occasions in order to prevent their homes from flooding.
After initial investigations, Suffolk Highways has confirmed more work has now been scheduled.
"Following drainage investigations earlier this month, work has been scheduled to clear extensive vegetation from March 11, 2024, to resolve the cause of recent flooding at A12 Yoxford," a spokesman for Suffolk Highways said.
The work is scheduled to take place over five days, with temporary traffic lights due to be in operation.
