The owner of an award-winning Suffolk country inn and hotel says he will never become complacent after the business secured a prestigious culinary award.
The Angel Inn in Stoke-by-Nayland was awarded three AA Rosettes at a ceremony last Tuesday evening, while also maintaining a prestigious five gold stars for the hotel.
Owner Richard Clark said: "Receiving this award has been a great honour.
"We are extremely happy and also humbled to have been named among some of the best establishments in the country.
"This award recognises the enormously hard work of all of the staff, particularly our head chef Ruben Aguilar Bel, who has created a wonderful kitchen."

The impact of winning such a prestigious award for the business was felt as soon as the next day, with a huge increase in visitors on the website and on social media.
"The change was evident from the very next day," said Mr Clark.
"As the new permeates further it will continue to increase too.
"We will never be complacent, however.
"The award is wonderful but we will go on to continue improving and listening to feedback from our customers."
The restaurant recently introduced a fixed-price lunch menu, at £28 for two courses and £34 for three.
"We want to cater to those looking for a full gastronomic experience with a six-course tasting menu, as well as those looking for a beautiful but light lunch," said Mr Clark.
"Suffolk is such an undiscovered gem with loads of fabulous local producers which we use at the Inn."
The Angel Inn will be serving food in the Courtyard Garden when the weather gets warmer and has plans to host events such as wine tastings, all of which can be found on the inn's website.
There is also an events space which is available for weddings and parties.
