Six people were arrested during a week of action in mid Suffolk that saw knives and drugs seized.
Officers in Stowmarket carried out a week-long operation between Monday, February 19 and Friday, February 23.
It saw a number of searches carried out under Section 23 of the Misuse of Drugs Act.
On Monday, a vehicle was stopped and a search was carried out by police.
Two people inside the car, a 34-year-old man and a 55-year-old woman, were arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs and possession of a bladed article after a knife was discovered in the vehicle.
The woman was released on bail until Monday, March 18, while the man was bailed until Thursday, May 16.
Another vehicle was stopped on Friday, and the driver reportedly fled the scene before being caught.
A 22-year-old man was arrested after he was allegedly found in possession of suspected class A drugs, a knife, a quantity of cash and a mobile phone.
He was released under investigation while enquiries continue.
The vehicle was also seized after the driver was found to have no insurance.
A 38-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs.
Two people with outstanding were also arrested.
Several safeguarding visits to those at risk of exploitation were also completed.
Sergeant Colin Gedney, a member of Stowmarket Community Policing Team at Suffolk police, said: “This operation demonstrates the determination of CPT officers to tackle drug-related activity in Mid Suffolk. The team worked overtime to ensure the operation was a success.
“Whilst we cannot be everywhere, we could be anywhere and not always in plain sight.”
