A countryside inn and hotel has won national acclaim at one of the most prestigious awards ceremonies in the culinary world.

The entry into the AA Guide celebrates the menu, which regularly changes depending on the freshest produce that the chefs can acquire.
It describes the setting as a "charming 16th-century Angel Inn, all beams and exposed brick, sympathetically refurbished and retaining plenty of character."
"Earning three AA Rosettes places restaurants on a pedestal of national recognition, showcasing their excellence far beyond their local borders," reads the AA Guide.
Kintsu, just over the border in Colchester, has also been awarded a prestigious three AA Rosettes.
