In a post on social media, Mr and Mrs Lucas said: "As you may be aware, the pub will be under new management from March 6. We will be closed until the new owners open on March 8.
"We would like to thank all our customers for their support over the last four years and wish the new owners every success.
"Thanks again to everyone who has helped make the last four years an incredible journey."
The pub is also regarded as one of the best places for al fresco dining in the county.
