Drivers in north Suffolk are set to be faced with a 25-mile diversion when a key road is shut for repair work.
The B1123 Metfield Road in Mendham, near Harleston, will be closed between 8am and 4pm between Thursday, March 7 and Friday, March 8.
While the road is closed Suffolk County Council will be carrying out urgent repair works to the road.
The official diversion route on the council's website is 25 miles long and is expected to take about an hour to complete.
It comes as drivers in Great Cornard, near Sudbury, are facing a 28-mile diversion route after an emergency road closure was put in place.
