Two lanes of the A14 remain closed as work to clear up flooding continues.
Part of the eastbound carriageway near Newmarket has been closed since Tuesday after National Highways said there was a possible burst water main in the area.
Further closures were implemented on Thursday after lanes had become submerged under flood water.
National Highways are warning drivers of delays as lanes one and two remain closed on Sunday.
According to the AA Traffic Map, there is heavy traffic on approach to the incident.
A spokesman for National Highways said: "Works remain ongoing at scene to implement a repair and clear the standing water."
