Three people have been injured – with one man seriously hurt – after a car crashed into a tree in mid Suffolk overnight.
Emergency services were called to Debenham Road in Little Stonham, near Stowmarket, at about 12.30am on Friday.
A spokeswoman for Suffolk police said a dark green Land Rover had come off the road and crashed into a tree.
The three people inside the car had all sustained injuries and were assessed by paramedics at the scene, the spokeswoman said.
They were taken to hospital where one of the rear passengers – a man aged in his 30s – was confirmed as having sustained serious injuries.
The road was closed while a crash investigation and recovery work took place and it reopened at about 4am.
Officers are now appealing for anyone with any information to contact Suffolk police, quoting CAD 4 of February 23.
