A 33-year-old man has pleaded guilty to dangerous driving in Sudbury.
Mustafa Hodzhov was before Ipswich Crown Court on Thursday and pleaded guilty to dangerous driving and failing to provide a specimen for analysis on Monday, January 22.
Hodzhov is from Bulgaria and the court was unable to confirm his address in the UK.
His defence said he was in the UK on a visitor visa but the Crown Prosecution Service will contact the Home Office to definitively establish his immigration status.
If he is given a custodial sentence of longer than 12 months, he may be automatically deported.
His sentencing was adjourned for reports and the next hearing will be on Thursday, April 4.
