A man has been arrested after police were called to an incident in a Suffolk town.
Several police units were spotted along Waldingfield Road in Sudbury at about 7pm on Wednesday.
A spokesman for Suffolk police said officers were called to an incident at about 6.40pm along the road leading into the town centre.
The spokesman confirmed that a man was arrested on suspicion of attempted causing grievous bodily harm and for possessing an offensive weapon.
About five police cars were spotted at the scene, with one blocking the path up towards the McDonald's roundabout.
