A star of one of the UK's biggest rock bands is set to take to the Suffolk stage this year.

Steward Copeland, drummer of the band and founding member, will be heading to The Apex in Bury St Edmunds for one night only, on Sunday, October 27.

This follows the news that The Police frontman Sting will perform at High Lodge in Thetford Forest this summer.

Copeland's tour, Have I Said Too Much? – The Police, Hollywood, and Other Adventures, will only run for two weeks across October and November 2024, so fans of the band will only have very limited ticket options to see the star.

He is a multi-Grammy winner, who followed his work with The Police by composing music for soundtracks for Hollywood movies and operas.

During the tour, Copeland will share his life as a performer, musician, entertainer, and writer.

"As the drummer with The Police I have played some of the biggest stadiums in the world," said Copeland.

"This tour, however, will see me visit much more intimate venues.

"It will be a real privilege to share the stories of my life with fans in these great settings."

Tickets go on sale on The Apex website at 10am on Friday, February 23.
