The management at a much-loved Suffolk restaurant has announced it will be closed "with immediate effect".

A-Listers at the Riverside in Woodbridge has closed down although the restaurant will remain open under new management and with a new name. 

In a post on social media, the management said: "With immediate effect, A Listers at The Riverside is closed. 

"We want to thank all of our fantastic staff over the last three and a half years for all of their hard work, as well as all of our loyal customers that have supported us and made the brand what it is today. 

"Although we'll miss Woodbridge, A Listers at Aurora is getting ready for our biggest summer yet with absolutely tonnes of epic things lined up."

A-Listers at Aurora in Ipswich opened in June last year after the business moved into the Helena Road premises. 

The Ipswich premises is run by Andy Lister and Jessica Lucas.
