A group of young people were seen throwing stones at houses in a Suffolk village and a car windscreen was smashed, prompting a police investigation.
Suffolk police is investigating after a car windscreen was smashed in Rye Hill, Great Cornard, near Sudbury, between 5.30pm and 5.45pm on Tuesday.
Neighbours said a group of young people threw stones at the houses from higher ground.
Suffolk police confirmed that officers visited the scene and the residents were spoken to.
A Suffolk police spokesperson said: "Anyone who can help the investigation is asked to contact Suffolk Police, crime reference 37/9819/24."
