A west Suffolk café has been named among the best brunch spots in the UK by a top chef.
National newspaper The Times asked chefs from around the country to name their go-to spots for brunch on a lazy weekend.
Folk Café, in Fornham St Martin, near Bury St Edmunds, was selected among the best eateries in the country.
Chef James Carn, who runs the award-winning Lark restaurant in the town's Angel Hill, said the café had a "fantastic vibe, great interior and wonderful service".
The café, on the outskirts of the west Suffolk town, underwent a huge expansion last summer.
Owner Ali Barker said at the time: "We outgrew our space within the first year of opening.
"The extension has been a very long time coming and we are happy it's happening.
"Our community has shown us so much support and I can't wait to provide a space that works so much better for us all."
A new shop and deli also opened at the premises in November 2023.
