The reopening date for a village pub and pizzeria has been confirmed.
It was confirmed in November that the Trowel & Hammer in Cotton, north of Stowmarket, would be reopening its doors after it had been shut since September 2022.
Freddy Vaudrey has taken over the pub, while Suffolk-based Sweeney's Pizzeria will also be based at the premises.
After reopening for a short period before Christmas, the pub has confirmed it is set to reopen for good on Saturday, March 23.
It will be open from 12pm to 2pm for lunch service between Monday and Saturday, and 12pm to 4pm on Sunday.
Evening service will run from 5.30pm until 8.30pm Monday to Thursday, and 5.30pm to 9pm on Friday and Saturday.
The pizzeria, which is owned by Craig Sweeney, will now be permanently based at the pub, having previously been a mobile business.
Mr Vaudrey said he had been "blown away" by the support the pub had received when speaking to this newspaper in November.
