A Suffolk farm and campsite has plans to diversify and is hoping to open a number of extra facilities over the summer for guests and the public.
The Pigs in Blankets campsite, based at Broadside Park Farm, near Southwold, provides glamping pods and a camping area for guests and is now looking to open a petting farm and a food and drink area created from an old grain silo.
Plans for the catering offer have been submitted to East Suffolk Council and involve converting the silo to provide tables and chairs for guests at the campsite to dine.

Will Tomson, who co-owns the site with his wife Jess, said he may invite a third party caterer from Southwold to come and cook for the guests on Fridays and Saturdays, with the silo being opened up to provide the dining area under a canopy.
He said: "We have got two grain silos that we don't use anymore and it seems a shame to scrap them and we want to repurpose them."
The petting farm is set to open alongside the food and drink offer and will be available to both camping guests and the wider public.

Jess said the site was already a working farm, with the campsite running alongside it, but they had to be careful with safety when children visiting the campsite wanted to see the farm animals.
Therefore, they decided to set up the petting farm where families could meet the animals in a safe environment.

Although the farm predominantly has pigs, there are sheep, cows, donkeys and goats on the site and there are plans to offer children the chance to bottle feed the lambs.
There are currently four glamping pods at the farm - heated wooden cabins with double beds and other facilities - while the owners have planning permission to increase this number to nine.
The campsite opened in 2022, with the glamping pods being added in July last year.
Jess added: "We are diversifying and adding bits and bobs to the farm. We want to make it as good an experience for people as possible."
