An electrical shop has closed suddenly in a Suffolk town after changes in shopping habits no longer warrants a store in the town.
Hughes Electrical on the High Street in Newmarket has shut its doors for the final time.
A spokesperson for Hughes Electrical said: "As a successful company we have to respond to the rapidly changing ways customers choose to do business with us.

"This has seen an unprecedented increase in the use of our website over the past 12 months.
"Regrettably, this has resulted in us having to make some difficult decisions; one of which is the closure of our store in Newmarket."
The five members of staff that worked in the store have been offered alternative positions within the company.
The company recognises that customers using the rental service may still have items that need to be returned but has promised that "nothing changes" with the service and those with questions can contact the rental team by calling 01480 418950.
