An 18-year-old man has been taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital after a serious crash in a Suffolk village.
Emergency services were called to the single-vehicle crash in Summer Road in Hepworth, near Stanton, at about 10.25pm on Friday.
A spokesman for Suffolk police said officers were called by the ambulance service after a silver Ford Fiesta left the road and hit a tree.
The driver of the car, an 18-year-old man, suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge, where he remains.
The road was closed until about 6.20am on Saturday while a crash investigation was carried out.
Officers are appealing for anyone with any information to contact them.
