A Pret A Manger could open in a Suffolk service station if expansion plans are approved.
Plans to expand the forecourt building at the Fiveways roundabout, near Barton Mills, have been submitted to West Suffolk Council.
According to the design and access statement, the extension will add to the already established roadside feel by "providing more efficient space for a store to provide for the existing food to go area".
According to an artist's impressions submitted with the application there is room for a Pret A Manger inside the service station.
The design and access statement added: "It is considered the application proposal is of an appropriate design and will provide amenity benefits to local residents."
The extension will also provide "the opportunity to provide improved facilities which will benefit customers of the site and motorists using the A11", the design and access statement says.
