Police are still searching for a missing 16-year-old boy who was last seen more than a week ago.
Curtis Oleforo left his home in Colchester on Tuesday, January 23, and has not been seen by his family since.
A spokesman for Essex Police said his family wants to make sure he is ok and are urging Curtis to get in contact with them.
The teenager has been described as around 6ft 1ins tall, with short black curly hair. He was last seen wearing a black parka coat, black tracksuit bottoms, and a black jumper with ‘MAN’ written on it.
It is believed that his coat may have been ripped.
The police spokesman added: "Through our investigation, it was reported he was seen in Colchester city centre on Thursday.
"Our investigation continues and we now believe Curtis has links with Birmingham or has travelled there."
The 16-year-old also has links with the Tendring areas.
Anyone with any information is being asked to contact Essex Police quoting incident number 994 of Tuesday, January 23.
