A landmark west Suffolk restaurant has been recognised by the prestigious Michelin Guide.
Lark in Bury St Edmunds has been named as the the only restaurant with the Bib Gourmand award in Suffolk.
Michelin presents the gong to eateries that offer a fine-dining experience at a competitive price.
Angel Hill restaurant Lark opened for the first time in February 2023 and has already received national recognition on more than one occasion.
Earlier this month, the establishment was named as one of the best places to visit in the UK by top celebrity food critic Jay Rayner.
Speaking about being named the only Suffolk restaurant with the Bib Gourmand award, owners James and Sophia Carn said they were "over the moon".
They added: "This is a such a lovely pat on the back for our wonderful team who have worked so hard.
"Lark will be one year old in two weeks and this a fantastic way to celebrate that first year.
"A massive thank you to all of our customers who have made this possible and kept our dream of this tiny little restaurant alive."
