Two people with links to Bury St Edmunds have been arrested and charged in connection with drug offences. 

Under Operation Orochi, officers from the Met Police conducted a warrant in the Redbridge area of London on Thursday, January 25. 

Two people were arrested and taken to Martlesham Heath police station for questioning. 

Vinjola Geca, 23 and of Snakes Lane East, Woodford Green, was charged with being concerned in the supplying of a quantity of cocaine between July 3, 2022 and January 24, 2024. 

Jurgen Kapica, 22 and of Snakes Lane East, Woodford Green, was charged with being concerned in the supplying of a quantity of cocaine between July 2, 2022 and January 24, 2024 and possession of cocaine, 

Both were remanded to appear before Suffolk Magistrates Court on Saturday, January 27, where they were further remanded for a further hearing at Ipswich Crown Court on February 23, 2024/ 

Operation Orochi is an operation set up by Suffolk police with the Met police to tackle county lines drug dealing operation between Suffolk and London.
