A family-run independent bakery in Suffolk has seen more customers and sales following praise from an internationally renowned TV chef on Instagram.
Wooster's Bakery, who have shops in both Bardwell and Bury St Edmunds, gained a glowing review for their malt loafs from Nigella Lawson.
The celebrity chef took to her Instagram page, which has three million followers, to praise the bakery, stating they were "the best malt loaf I've ever eaten".
The bakery has been around for 30 years, originally being set up by husband and wife Simon and Sue Wooster, before more recently being taken over by their sons, Will and Joe.
Simon said the interest was "very welcome" and there has been a rise in customers and malt loaf sales.
He said: "Interest has peaked at the moment.
"Our eldest, Will, is very active on social media and he saw it on there.
"There has been increased interest and sales as a result of this.
"We do have a core following, a great customer base normally, and the malt loaf's is one of our most popular products, but we have seen more people buying them than normal.
"We're a small bakery, this is one of our flagship products, so it's very nice to have all this attention and publicity, but we're not going to go mad over it and lose our heads."
Ms Lawson posted on her Instagram yesterday, and the post has received over 5,000 likes, and several comments agreeing with the sentiment.
Mr Wooster continued: "We've got a great team and that makes a massive difference.
"We'll keep doing what we are doing, serving Suffolk at our markets and shops."
