It wasn't easy for Ms Lawson to get hold of the malt loaf, and was sent a few loaves by a Suffolk-based food columnist friend.
"The malt loaf from Wooster's Bakery is quite simply the best malt loaf I have ever eaten," said Ms Lawson.
"It’s even better than I remembered.
"I'm in heaven!
"Best malt loaf ever – especially when spread with Fen Farm Dairy cultured butter, which also happens to come from Suffolk."
Ms Lawson first tried the loaf several years ago and has been thinking about it ever since.
Wooster's responded to the shout-out by approving of the chef's butter-to-bread ratio.
The bakery is open from Wednesday to Sunday weekly and can be found at markets around the county.
