Drivers are being warned of severe delays after temporary traffic lights have been put in place along a major road into a Suffolk town.
Three-way signals have been put up along Cornard Road in Sudbury, near the Sainsbury's supermarket.
The traffic lights are in place to allow Openreach to carry out essential works safely.
It comes after a set of temporary lights were put in place along the same stretch of road last year which caused chaos for drivers.
The AA Traffic Map is showing heavy traffic in the area, especially around rush hour with delays of about 15 minutes.
The traffic lights are expected to be in place until Friday.
