The list by SquareMeal is compiled from a combination of its in-house critic opinions and thousands of diner votes.

Lark in Bury St Edmunds was ranked 39th on the list.
Opened in February 2023, Lark serves seasonal, local ingredients across a selection of small plates for the whole table.
The restaurant has been named among many prestigious guides, including The Good Food Awards, and was added to the Michelin guide last November.
The Suffolk in Aldeburgh was ranked 85th in the top 100 list.
Only a stones throw away from the Suffolk coast, the restaurant uses local suppliers for the menu which regularly changes throughout the year.
There are also rooms to stay in for those wanting to escape to the seaside.
SquareMeal said: "Whittling down the UK's burgeoning dining scene into just 100 top sports was an excruciating job that took months of planning and deliberation by both our team and our readers.
"Despite incredibly tough economic circumstances, our homegrown hospitality professionals have overcome it all and managed to deliver top-class experiences for diners, with flair, ingenuity and individuality."
