A west Suffolk brewery has announced a beer festival lasting "until the beer runs out".

The festival will be held at The Old Cannon Brewery in Bury St Edmunds, a brewery established in 1845. 

The freshly brewed beers are nautical themed with names such us The Gunner's Daughter and Powder Monkey.

The festival will serve beers made by The Old Cannon Brewery alongside ales and ciders brewed by other regional producers. 

It is planned to run on Easter weekend which is the final weekend of March this year.

A spokeswoman for the business said: "The festival will start at 5pm on Thursday and run until we run out of beer."

Food will be available throughout the festival and entry is free of charge. 

The pub also has room available for festival goers to stay for the event.
