Suffolk Highways had a busy night as reports of fallen trees around the county have piled in amid Storm Isha.
The Met Office warned that the UK would face disruption on roads and by rail during Storm Isha, with a warning in place between 12pm on Sunday, January 21 and the same time on Monday.
Posting on X, Suffolk Highways said that more than 50 fallen trees around the county have been reported so far during the storm.

Our crews worked throughout the night and are continuing to attend incidents across the county today.

This follows the news that Eastgate Street in Bury St Edmunds is currently blocked after a tree fell onto a car during the storm.
The road is closed at the junction with Barton Road and drivers are being forced to find alternative routes.
While the wind gusts have now calmed in Suffolk, drivers should still expect disruption on the roads while debris and blocks are cleared by the highway teams.
