Two Suffolk pubs have ranked in Estrella Damm's coveted list of the top 100 gastropubs in the UK.

Estrella Damm releases its list of the top 100 UK Gastropubs every January, with The Unruly Pig in Bromeswell featuring often in first position.

However, several other Suffolk pubs feature in the ranking, including The Ufford Crown near Woodbridge, which has placed in the 85th position for 2024.

On Tuesday Estrella Damm revealed that two more Suffolk pubs have placed in its list of the top 100, as voted for by more than 400 owners, food critics and other industry experts who make up the members of the Estrella Damm academy.

The Greyhound Inn in Pettistree ranked in 87th position in 2023 and has leapt up the list to place in 66th for 2024.

Adam Spicer, who was a finalist in MasterChef: The Professionals in 2019, joined the team as head chef in September and the pub has continued to go from strength to strength since then.

The Brewers in Rattlesden has also made the list, placing in 70th position.

Estrella Damm is releasing five rankings every day and the top 50 gastropubs will be released on Monday, January 22.
